Christoph Asmuth is a Professor at the University of Berlin, Fakultät I, TU Berlin, with a PhD from the Technical University of Berlin, Fakultät I (2003). Asmuth directed the project group on Fichte (“Fichte-Arbeitsgruppe Berlin”) from 2002 to 2005; he organized the International Conference on Fichte in 2000 and the “VII Internationaler Leibniz-Kongress”, “Nihil sine ratione”, in Berlin in 2001. Since 2006 he has been director of the research project on German Idealism Transzendentalphilosophie/Deutscher Idealismus (Berlin). Asmuth has authored numerous articles and books published both in Germany and abroad.
