Biografia:
Adelino Gonçalves é licenciado em Arquitetura pelo Departamento de Arquitetura da Universidade de Coimbra (UC, 1994) e Doutor em Arquitetura pela mesma universidade, com a defesa da dissertação "Património Urban(ístic)o e Planeamento da Salvaguarda" (UC, 2012). É Professor Auxiliar de Arquitetura na Universidade de Coimbra e Investigador Associado do Centro de Estudos Sociais, onde é membro do Núcleo de Investigação Cidades, Culturas e Arquitetura (CCArq) e é Coordenador do Mestrado em Reabilitação Urbana Integrada do Departamento de Arquitetura da Universidade de Coimbra. A par de atividades urbanismo, arquitetura e design, tem-se dedicado à investigação sobre políticas urbanas e sobre a integração da reabilitação urbana e da salvaguarda patrimonial no desenvolvimento urbano. Sobre estes temas tem publicado artigos e capítulos em edições nacionais e internacionais, bem como em encontros e seminários.

Biography:
Adelino Gonçalves holds a degree in Architecture from the Department of Architecture at the University of Coimbra (UC, 1994) and a PhD in Architecture from the same university, with the defense of the dissertation "Urban Heritage (ístic) o and Safeguarding Planning" (UC, 2012). He is Assistant Professor of Architecture at the University of Coimbra and Associate Researcher at the Center for Social Studies, where he is a member of the Research Center for Cities, Cultures and Architecture (CCArq) and is Coordinator of the Master in Integrated Urban Rehabilitation of the Department of Architecture at the University of Coimbra . Alongside urbanism, architecture and design activities, he has dedicated himself to research on urban policies and on the integration of urban rehabilitation and heritage protection in urban development. On these topics he has published articles and chapters in national and international editions, as well as in meetings and seminars.
