Luciano Utteich

Biografia:
Nasceu em Tapera, no Rio Grande do Sul. Professor da Graduação e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Filosofia da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE) em Toledo (PR), onde tem lecionado cursos de História da Filosofia Moderna, Teoria do Conhecimento, Metafísica e Estética. Doutorado em Filosofia pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS, Porto Alegre), com período de pesquisa na Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (2006), com a tese intitulada A Exigência da Fundamentação do Sistema da Filosofia transcendental sob o Princípio Absoluto do ‘Ich bin’ em Johann Gottlieb Fichte. Realizou pós-doc. na Universität Duisburg-Essen (2013-14), cujo resultado foi a tradução do livro A crítica de Hegel a Fichte e a Doutrina da Ciência de 1804 (Hegels Fichtekritik und die Wissenschaftslehre von 1804), de Ludwig Siep. Colaborou com uma série de artigos em revistas especializadas e ministrou conferências em congressos filosóficos no Brasil, em Portugal e Espanha.

Biography:
Born in Tapera, in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, Luciano Utteich is a professor in the graduate and post-graduate programme in philosophy at the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE) in Toledo (PR), where he has taught courses on the history of modern philosophy, the theory of knowledge, metaphysics, and aesthetics. He earned his PhD in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS, Porto Alegre), having spent a research stint at the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (2006), with a thesis entitled “A Exigência da Fundamentação do Sistema da Filosofia transcendental sob o Princípio Absoluto do 'Ich bin' em Johann Gottlieb Fichte”. Utteich completed his post-doc. at the Duisburg-Essen University (2013-14), the result of which was the translation of Ludwig Siep's book Hegel's Critique of the Fichte and the Doctrine of Science of 1804 (Hegels Fichtekritik und die Wissenschaftslehre von 1804). He collaborated on a series of articles in specialized magazines and has given lectures at philosophical conferences in Brazil, Portugal, and Spain.
