Mário Júlio Teixeira Krüger

Biografia:
Mário Krüger é Professor Catedrático do Departamento de Arquitetura da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra e Investigador do Centro de Estudos Sociais desta Universidade. Com vários livros impressos e inúmeros artigos em revistas nacionais e internacionais, bem como de comunicações em con-gressos e encontros científicos, publicou recentemente a obra Comentários à Arte Edificatória de Leon Battista Alberti, foi co responsável em 2011 pela edição, em língua portuguesa, do De reaedificatoria, bem como foi coordenador do projeto de investigação Alberti Digital, financiado pela FCT, que teve por objetivo traçar, em ambiente computacional e pela construção de uma gramática generativa da forma, a influência daquele tratado na herança disciplinar da Arquitetura Clássica em Portugal.

Biography:
Mário Krüger is a tenured professor in the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra, where he is also a researcher with the Centre for Social Studies. With several printed books and numerous articles in national and international journals, as well as presentations in conferences and academic meetings, he recently published the book Comentários à Arte Edificatória de Leon Battista Alberti. In 2011, he was co-supervisor for the Portuguese language edition of De reaedificatoria, as well as coordinator of the research project Alberti Digital, financed by FCT, which aimed to trace, in a computational environment and by building a generative grammar of form, the influence of that treaty on the disciplinary heritage of Classical architecture in Portugal.
