Biografia:
É Professor Associado com Agregação da Universidade de Lisboa. Nos últimos anos tem-se dedicado ao estudo dos nacionalismos, memórias sociais  e culturas políticas nas suas relações transnacionais, nos três últimos séculos. Entre outros trabalhos, é autor de Historiografia e memória nacional no Portugal do século XIX (1846-1898), 1998 e Consciência histórica e nacionalismo, Portugal séculos XIX e XX, 2008. Coordena o Dicionário de Historiadores Portugueses (1779-1974), online no site da Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. Co-editou Historiografia e memórias (séculos XIX-XXI), 2012 e A Universidade de Lisboa nos séculos XIX e XX, 2013. É investigador do Centro de História da Universidade de Lisboa. Colaborou em diversos projetos de investigação internacionais e nacionais.<h4 class=”heading”>

Biography:
Sérgio Campos Matos is an associate professor with the title of agregação at the University of Lisbon. In recent years he has dedicated himself to the study of nationalisms, social memories, and political cultures in their transnational relations over the last three centuries. Among other works, he is the author of <em>Historiografia e memória nacional no Portugal do século XIX (1846-1898)</em> [Historiography and National Memory in 19th century Portugal (1846-1898)], 1998; and <em>Consciência histórica e nacionalismo, Portugal séculos XIX e XX</em> [Historical Consciousness and Nationalism, Portugal 19th and 20th centuries], 2008. He coordinates the <em>Dicionário de Historiadores Portugueses (1779-1974)</em> [Dictionary of Portuguese Historians (1779-1974)] online at the National Library of Portugal’s website. He co-edited the <em>Historiografia e memórias (séculos XIX-XXI</em> [Historiography and Memoirs (19th-20th centuries)], 2012, and <em>A Universidade de Lisboa nos séculos XIX e XX</em> [The University of Lisbon in the 19th and 20th centuries], 2013. A researcher at the Centre for History of the University of Lisbon, he has collaborated in several international and national research projects.
