NATÁLIA ALBINO PIRES é Professora Adjunta na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra, onde é responsável pela Prática de Ensino Supervisionada da disciplina de Português no 2º CEB. Tem desenvolvido investigação e publicado trabalhos, principalmente, sobre as especificidades linguísticas do romanceiro da tradição oral moderna portuguesa, sobre a importância do texto tradicional para a construção do imaginário coletivo, sobre o constructo da imagem do Outro em textos literários (na cronística medieval e noutros textos quinhentistas) e sobre a importância do conhecimento e desenvolvimento lexical das crianças para a compreensão textual.

NATÁLIA ALBINO PIRES is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, where she is responsible for the Supervised Teaching Practice of the Portuguese course at the 2nd CEB. She has developed research and published works mainly on the linguistic specificities of Portuguese modern oral tradition, on the importance of the traditional text for the construction of the collective imagination, on the construct of the image of the Other in literary texts (in the medieval chronicle and in others sixteenth-century texts) and on the importance of children's knowledge and lexical development for textual comprehension.
