Licenciado em Psicologia. Doutorando em Ciências da Educação, especializada em Psicologia da Educação. Membro efectivo da Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses. Especialista em Psicologia da Educação, Necessidades Educativas Especiais e Intervenção Precoce da Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses. Alberto Rocha é o Presidente da Direcção da Associação Nacional para o Estudo e Intervenção do Doente (A.N.E.I.S), sendo também Coordenador do Programa de Enriquecimento nas Áreas de Aptidão, Interesse e Socialização (P.E.D.A.I.S), pelo qual é responsável a Delegação do Porto e Gondomar e, finalmente, é o director da revista científica "Sobredotação". O Dr. Alberto Rocha liderou o Projecto de Identificação de Dons e Talentos nos Estudantes do 1º Ciclo (PISTA|1). É o representante da "Red Internacional de Investigación, Intervención y Evaluación en Altas Capacidades Intelectuales" (REINEVA) em Portugal. Rocha é membro do conselho editorial da revista científica digital nas disciplinas de Psicologia e Educação, "Talíncrea": talento, inteligência e criatividade. É também membro do Grupo de Investigação sobre Reconhecimento, Aprendizagem e Desempenho (GICAD), bem como membro do Conselho Europeu de Alta Capacidade (ECHA) e do Conselho Mundial para Crianças Dotadas e Talentosas (WCGTC). Alberto Rocha faz parte do grupo de investigação do CIEd - Centro de Investigação em Educação da Universidade do Minho. É autor e co-autor de vários artigos apresentados em conferências nacionais e internacionais, para além de artigos publicados nas áreas de talento e talento.

Psychology graduate. Phd student in Education Sciences, specialized in Educational Psychology. Effective member of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists. Specialist in Educational Psychology, Special Educational Needs and Early Intervention from the Order of Portuguese Psychologists. Alberto Rocha is the President of the Board of the National Association for the Study and Intervention of Giftedness (A.N.E.I.S), while also being Coordinator of the Enrichment Program in the Areas of Aptitude, Interest, and Socialization (P.E.D.A.I.S), for which the Delegation of Porto and Gondomar is responsible, and finally, he is the director of the scientific journal “Sobredotação”. Dr. Alberto Rocha led the Project of Identification of Giftedness and Talent in 1st Cycle Students (PISTA|1). He is the representative of “Red Internacional de Investigación, Intervención y Evaluación en Altas Capacidades Intelectuales” (REINEVA) in Portugal. Rocha is a member of the Editorial board of the scientific digital magazine in the disciplines of Psychology and Education, “Talíncrea”: talent, intelligence, and creativity. He is also a member of the Research Group on Cognition, Learning, and Performance (GICAD), as well as a member of the European Council for High Ability (ECHA) and World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC). Alberto Rocha is part of the research group of CIEd – Center for Research on Education of the University of Minho. He is the author and co-author of several papers presented at national and international conferences, in addition to papers published in the areas of giftedness and talent.
